Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

Since everyone who reads this blog is likely a friend or family member, you already know about our weekend o’ sick…so I’m just going to skip over that except to say that thankfully we all woke feeling healthy and ready to enjoy the sunshine today. Hallelujah! (No…seriously.)

So, Liam and I decided to go on his class Field Trip after all!!  We hopped in the car and raced out to meet the rest of the Moms and kiddos to learn about some farm animals, make some butter and pick some pumpkins!

Waiting for Lampchop to come out. Really, people? "Lambchop"?

And here she is!

The gang's all here! Of course, you can't see Liam in this shot - he stepped back just as I clicked. (Both classes of four year olds went together.)

Learning about turkeys. Gobble, gobble. (He's the one in the blue jacket...there's his left elbow.)

Baby cows!! (psst. look under the hood. There's Liam!)

Petting the donkey. This was no big deal...Aunt Eva has like six of these!

Waiting to learn about cows and make butter!

They asked for volunteers to be "the parts of a cow". Liam was the "rough tongue". Okaayyy...

When tasting brand new butter, evidently one must proceed with caution. He later told Brian: "We made butter, Dad! It wasn't real butter. It was cow butter. But it tasted almost like real butter!"

Contemplating life as a cornstalk. (On the hayride to the pumpkin patch.)

Directing the pumpkin picking. I have no idea where he gets this "take charge" attitude and finger pointing. No idea whatsoever.

Hang on...we may have a winner here...Mama, get the pumpkin cutter ready!

Yep - it's a keeper!

Now that's a good lookin' bunch of pumpkins!

Yay for Fall!

We’ll be going again with Daddy this weekend, and decorating around here.  Stay tuned!

find nearly all of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for.
can you offer guest writers to write content for you?
I wouldn’t mind producing a post or elaborating on a number of the subjects you write
in relation to here. Again, awesome weblog!
